I wrote part of a song while at work this past weekend. Pushing boxes of equipment out into the cold January morning and onto a truck got me thinking about lyrics, and with that came a melody, and with that came the outline of a song. Any releases from me are still some ways away, as I am on the road traveling the US (which has been AMAZING.) But yeah. My mind's been constantly flip-flopping on what I actually want my music to sound like. Should it should be rough and loud and screamy and sound terrible like the music I liked in college? Or should it be more focused and quieter? Because I like both. As for the songs that are written for my LP, one sounds like country, one sounds like a Pixies song, one is just screechy guitar feedback, and one sounds like a fucking kids song!!
I'm trying to save up to purchase an electric guitar. My last one was cheap and didn't sound that great. Also, I'll be traveling as a part of my job for a good part of 2025, but things will slow down for the most part in May. That's when I plan to get back to recording. Until then, I'm going to work on writing more lyrics for LP1. I also updated the album description page.
